Babila is a minimalist design created by Italy-based designer Odo Fioravanti. The Babila wooden chair has been designed starting from the variable-thickness-plywood technique. This technique makes possible to have different thicknesses at different points of the shell, to obtain a variable mechanical resistance. The lower part is thicker to house the legs and is characterized by a chamfer on the lower edge that creates an optical effect of thinning.
